Django Shelton joined Inveniam in December 2024 following the acquisition of Hedgehog, a blockchain-based technology platform focused on digitization and distribution in private markets. At Hedgehog, he was the first engineer and built a strong team and culture on top of innovative blockchain solutions.
Mr. Shelton is a full stack engineer at heart, specializing in backend, infrastructure, and SRE work, with a passion for architecture and system design. He spent many years working in technology consulting at IBM, building solutions using emerging technologies such as Blockchain and AI in highly regulated industries including banking and government. Following his time at IBM, Mr. Shelton worked for a green energy startup on Electric Vehicle charging algorithms and revenue assurance.
With a Bachelor’s degree from Durham University in Computer Science, Philosophy, and Business, Mr. Shelton has strong leadership and communication skills bridging gaps between software engineering and business.
