As Inveniam's Chief Risk and Trust Officer, Michael Lempres leads enterprise risk strategy, regulatory affairs, and trust frameworks as the Company continues scaling institutional-grade infrastructure for private markets.
Mr. Lempres brings unmatched experience at the intersection of regulatory policy, financial innovation, and blockchain. Most recently an Executive in Residence at Andreessen Horowitz, he previously served as Chief Legal and Risk Officer at Coinbase, where he helped guide the company through a period of hypergrowth and evolving global regulation.
A respected voice on governance, Mr. Lempres has advised numerous successful startups, served on the boards of public and private companies, and was appointed to national roles by three U.S. Presidents, including key leadership positions with two U.S. Attorneys General. He also brings a deep understanding of public policy as a former Mayor of Atherton (2016–17) and elected City Council Member.
