Joel Padowitz is the founder and CEO of Palladium Capital Group, a leading microcap investment bank specializing in Private Equity, PIPEs, reverse mergers, commercial real estate, and the secondary placement of private equity and investment fund interests. Since its founding in 2004, the firm has facilitated hundreds of transactions totaling billions of dollars, and today is represented by registered representatives throughout the United States.

Mr. Padowitz began his career at Gerber Financial Management, a Beverly Hills advisory firm specializing in financial and tax planning, where his role over a three-year period shifted from investment analysis and portfolio design to sales & marketing and business development. In the early 2000s, he founded two Palladium-branded entities: first Palladium Market Neutral, a market-neutral fund of funds, for which he raised more than $100M before the assets were sold to Crestline Partners in 2007. The second was Palladium Capital Advisors, a FINRA-member broker-dealer. Since 2006, his primary business focus has been on the broker-dealer business.

Mr. Padowitz completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University where he graduated first in his class with a concentration in social sciences (economics and psychology). He earned his MBA from Israel’s Bar Ilan University where he also graduated first in his class. Mr. Padowitz holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and was honored at the White House by President George H.W. Bush for “outstanding achievements in science.”
