Why AI Matters to Private Markets

Why AI Matters to Private Markets

For the past eight years, we've been building solutions for a distributed data architecture—long before it became a mainstream conversation.

4.5 years ago, we began building our first Artificial intelligence tool: AI Assist. From day one, our focus has been on delivering context, attribution, and trust to other firms automation tools, whether it was RPA, ML, ETL, Smart Contracts or Generative AI. Inveniam's ability to deliver Gen AI, with total data sovereignity begins with indexing & vector embedding your data in your own environment, so that you can utilize these forms of automation with data governance. In particular as we move to an agentic world you, and your agents, need surety of source of data, state of data, and process of data, across not just an enterprise but eco-systems.

What does that mean in practice;

Proof of state of data
Knowing not just what data exists but how it has evolved, with the ability to prove state of data cryptographically, on the data you accessed it, and prove this is the most up to data version.

Proof of origin
Establishing where data comes from and ensuring its authenticity, this is incredibly important when using agents, and when agents interface not just with data repositories, but other agents, this becomes critical, at scale and velocity.

Proof of process
Tracking how data has been handled and transformed, and by whom, in a fully auditable, tracable, and immutable form.

Inherited permissions
Ensuring AI tools, and every other form of automation respect the permissions of the users interacting with them to ensure data retention obligations, and chinese firewalls within regulated entities.

Data governance
Creating frameworks for responsible data utilization that can be actively governed, audited, and traced. As AI continues to scale, trust and transparency in how data is used, processed, and secured are more critical than ever, particularly at scale. Data velocity will only increase, black boxes do not work in markets that have regulators, Governance isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s a necessity.

Inveniam is excited to be partnering with the global leaders in this space, building the next generation data solutions that will power the digital trading of private market assets, derivatives, and funds. If you are interested in joining this conversation, let’s talk—how are you thinking about AI, data trust, and governance in your work?
