Peter Gaffney to join Inveniam as Director of DeFi & Digital Trading

We’re excited to welcome Peter Gaffney as Director of DeFi & Digital Trading at Inveniam.

Peter brings a strong track record at the intersection of tokenization, structured finance, and blockchain infrastructure. At Inveniam, he will lead efforts to integrate private markets into decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain-native ecosystems—bridging traditional asset classes with emerging digital rails.

Previously, Peter was VP of Business Development & Strategy at Blue Water Financial Technologies, where he led tokenization initiatives across mortgage trading platforms. Before that, he served as Head of Research at Security Token Advisors, advising asset managers and infrastructure providers on digital asset strategies. He is also the author of Blockchain Explained: Your Ultimate Guide to the Tokenization of Finance and creator of the State of Security Tokens institutional research series.

With additional experience at Global X ETFs and in private equity, Peter brings both public and private market expertise to Inveniam’s mission to enable the systematic trading of private market assets.
