Jon Nieman has amassed over three decades of expertise in steering private market investments spanning diverse industries and asset classes. Currently, he holds the position of Head of Investments at G42, where he actively guides their corporate investment endeavors in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and strategic partnerships.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Nieman held key positions at renowned institutions like Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Saudi Aramco, where he played a pivotal role in establishing new investment categories and overseeing multi-billion dollar portfolios. Notably, his foray into AI-powered private market investing began in 2014. Over the past 5-20 years, he presented several pioneering proposals, including the indexation of private markets, tokenization of private assets, application of AI in private market investing, and the acquisition of data rights, AI-generated content, metaverse-performed content, and holographic rights. While many of these proposals were not pursued, they underscore his forward-thinking approach.
Mr. Nieman earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina's Kenan Flagler Business School and holds a BBA in Finance from Eastern Michigan University.
